Mei Li Ming (aka Mile Muen) (pictured on the left), was born on December 29, 1974.
She arrived in the United States in October 1994 as part of the Splendid China Folk Dance & Costume Ensemble.
Three young men who traveled with her to the United States from the People's Republic of China (and her friends) are appealing for her fate to be uncovered.
She is a dancer from Inner Mongolia and was working at the Florida Splendid China theme park in Kissimmee, Florida. Her care and safety is/was the responsibility of Florida Splendid China.
On December 13, 1994 Mei Li Ming was thought to have defected/escaped from Florida Splendid China.
Recent (October 1998) communications to inquire about the young lady with Al Riley qinhand@aol.com from Florida Splendid China were fruitless, he does not remember any performer with that name and will release no further information.
We call on anyone who has seen this young lady to contact us so we can let her friends know she is alive. |
