CACCP Letter to Florida School District Superintendents

October 23, 1998

Dear Educator,

Recently, a copy of the enclosed, "The Case Against Florida Splendid China" was mailed to the United States Department of Justice to aid in the investigation of violations of US Federal law. Florida Splendid China, used as an educational experience for some Florida public school districts, has been shown to be a Chinese Communist government propaganda theme park and we believe, has violated the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) by not registering with the United States government. This has been a calculated strategy since the park opened in 1993, to obfuscate the ownership and true purpose of Florida Splendid China so as to continue their work unimpeded by federal and local statutes regarding propaganda disseminated by hostile foreign governments.

The facts presented in "The Case Against Florida Splendid China" demonstrate disreputable and shady business dealings, Communist Chinese government ownership and control, and a callous disregard for the opinions of Florida citizens. We feel that the continued use of Florida Splendid China as a field trip venue is inappropriate and should immediately be terminated for the sake of our impressionable school-aged children.

We invite you to respond to this issue by completing the enclosed survey, adding your comments and returning it to us using the enclosed stamped envelope.

Thank you for your time and attention,
