Citizens Against Backyard Communism

To celebrate Tibetan Uprising Day, March 10, a non-violent protest will take place at the Florida Splendid China theme park in Kissimmee, Florida, two miles from Walt Disney World. The protest will start at 10AM on Friday, March 10,1995 and Saturday March 11,1995. All interested parties are welcome to participate.
The Florida Splendid China theme park is wholly owned and operated by the Communist party of the People's Republic of China and is a propaganda tool in the Communist party's war against the non-chinese peoples.
The Tibetan, Mongolian, Uigur, and Maio people ( to name a few) whose land has been occupied by the Communist People's Liberation Army (PLA) are suffering the loss of cultural identity through a deliberate campaign of propaganda which has erased the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and basic human rights of these people in their own lands.
The brutality of the Chinese oppression of the Tibetan people has been recognized by the United Nations, European Parliament, the United States Senate and House of Representatives, Italian Parliament, and West German Bundestag in official documents. The repression has been termed 'genocide' after careful deliberation by an international panel of jurists and it still continues today.
Another part of the assassination of the Tibetan cultural identity is for the communist party officials to present the non-chinese peoples as happy and healthy to the outside world, while maintaining control of religious and social institutions inside the country. This control is the attempt to replace the unique Tibetan culture with Chinese culture. The incorrect image of Tibet as part of Chinese culture is displayed at the Florida Splendid China theme park,as well as exhibits from other non-chinese peoples, which wrongfully attempts to portray these people as a sub-set of Chinese culture.
The protest against the inclusion of non-chinese exhibits is not directed towards Florida Splendid China as a whole. The inclusion of real Chinese exhibits is a welcome sight, but, the inclusion of the non-chinese exhibits is a mistake that can be rectified. The inclusion of replicas of buildings that were bombarded or destroyed by the PLA during the occupation that has lasted decades is a cruel slap in the face. At one point, some of these buildings were the place of power for an entire people, and now they are shown as an element of Chinese culture.
