Excerpt of Letter to Mr. Ma

Dear Sir,
As the second anniversary of the opening of Florida Splendid China approaches, we are again motivated to write to you to plead for the removal of the exhibits which represent the Tibetan, Mongolian, and Uigur 'minorities'. Although you have stated that Florida Splendid China is not making a political statement with these exhibits, we believe that they are part of the People's Republic of China's policy to whitewash/rewrite Chinese history to make the occupation of these lands legitimate.
The protest against Florida Splendid China has not diminished in the last two years. Our membership has continued to grow as more Americans become aware of our cause. With bans being effected on field trips to your facility, and more being voted on, please reconsider your refusal to speak with us, so that everyone can benefit.
As always, we remain ready to talk with you or your representative about this issue, at your convenience.
Also, as a courtesy, we would also like to inform you of our plans to demonstrate outside the main gates of Florida Splendid China on the 17th day of December 1995.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely yours, Jack E. Churchward
