Washington, DC: members of IMPP demonstrated in front of the PRC's Embassy for 4 hours ( 11:00 to 4:00) on April 26. The beautiful Mongol Deel ( Mongolian traditional dress) they had on attracted many passing people and drivers kept honking for support.
New York: members and supporters of IMPP demonstrated in front of the United Nations building for 2 hours (12:00 to 2:00) and then marched through the crowded Sunday New York streets and Central Park to the PRC’s Permanent Mission to the United Nation on April 27. Demonstration ended at 3:30 in front of the PRC’s mission building.
Houston, Texas: after a 13 hours-long ride , members of IMPP started the demonstration in front of the PRC’s Consulate Office in Houston in a heavy rain at 12:00 on April 27. Three officials of the Consulate came out of the building at the risk of the rain to take pictures, even take a copy of flyers which the our demonstrators distributed to the passerby.
Kissimmee, Florida: a member of IMPP with a group of people from Citizens Against Communist Chinese Propaganda ( CACCP) demonstrated outside of the 'Florida Splendid China Theme Park' in Kissimmee, near Orlando. The mighty CACCP has been protesting with the Mongols, Tibetans and Uighurs against the park's containing the historical scenes of the Mongols, Tibetans and Uighurs , such as the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan , the Potala Palace etc. to misleading the American people since the park was first opened in 1993. The demonstration started from 10:00 and lasted for three hours on April 27.
Bonn, Germany: On April 27, the Chairman of the IMPP , Mr. Temtsitu and the other members and supporters of the IMPP demonstrated in front of the PRC's Embassy to Germany. The demonstration started from 2:00 p.m. ( local time) and ended at 5:00. Demonstrators distributed about a thousand of flyers.
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: in spite of having pressure from the Chairman of the PRC's National Congress Qiao Shi's recent visit to Mongolia, members and supporters of IMPP will hold a sit-down protest in front of the PRC's Embassy to Mongolia on May 01.
The demonstrators all waved the new IMPP banners ( check out the still-raw IMPP official site here: http://members.aol.com/imppsite) and signs of ' 50 years is enough' ' End Chinese Occupation in Inner Mongolia' 'China out of Inner Mongolia!' 'Free Inner Mongolia!' 'Freedom, Independence in Inner Mongolia' 'Release all political prisoners in Inner Mongolia' 'Release Hada, Tegexi' 'top mass population in Inner Mongolia'.... They also sent many press-release to the media and distributed thousands of flyers to the passing people.
